Typically we avoid spending too much time on quartz watches from the 1970s. The thought of the near-death of the Swiss watch industry is almost too much bear. That being said, one quartz watch from that period that we would happily wear is the Omega Marine Chronometer, a watch that for many years was known to be the most accurate watch in the world.
